Your joking right? By the time you add carriage and VAT its £74.00. They show a picture of ROHM resin but say 'Manufactures vary'. I would bet my kidneys that you would get Purolite.

Ive heard crap things about brodex - shoddy customer service for a start.. but ive never used them before, but if they are not recommended, then you know its not worth it.

I personally like Wintecs. They just deliver what you ordered without any fuss.

Brodex = £74.01
DA Services = £76
Cleaning Spot = £78.84
Pure Freedom = £78.98
Gardiner Pole Systems = £79.25
Wintecs = £81
Window Cleaning Warehouse =£81.08

So currently Brodex are the cheapest suppliers of Virgin Resin in the UK.

The choice should usually be made on quality and customer service as generally there is only a very small difference in price (£5.90 between the above).

It has been pointed out by Glyn of Omnipole previously that DI resin costs in the window cleaning market are artificially low and cannot be sustained long term. The retail price of resin has dropped over the last 5 years, due to competition, yet the wholesale price has steadily been rising over the same period.

Window cleaning supply firms are actually losing money on every bag of resin sold, by the time they factor in cash flow (most of us buy in 2-3 pallet loads at a time), staffing, storage, delivery. At some point the price of this product is going to shoot up to a realistic level.

We have the un-real situation where in the UK market it is just as cheap to buy and use Virgin resin as it is to use re-generated resin. In most markets there is a significant financial benefit to re-generating, which also happens to be more environmentally sound.

This will probaby be the last time you can by Rohm as from a reliable source they are stopping this product. Hence reason why so cheep as they are probably clearing the last of ther stocks.

More other Manufacturers may follow so suppliers keep your ears out. ;) ;)

We charge £76.37 inc vat + approx £9.00 carriage but it is becoming incresingly difficult to source quality mixed bed resin to be able to sell at this cost.
Like Doug said about Rohm it appears many manufacturers will cease production at least in Europe or the USA and switch their production to China or India.

The window cleaning industry has been treated exceptionally well when it comes to price most other industries pay £100 - £120.00 for mixed bed whilst at the same time buying much larger quantities from suppliers.

I agree, the market is going to experience a radical shake-up and the days of cheap resin will be over.
