jesus its quiet out there! a number of reasons! :o
1. the crunch (business's and domestic households being tight) :o
2. christmas looming :'(
3. weather >:(
soon as the recession is over it should be booming as moss is covering everywhere with the damp! :)

was off work today. went to the hairdressers, it was empty which it never is, then went to the driving range and guess what? i was the only one there, both places said they are really quiet and are worrying about the next couple of months. god its not just me! :o
-
we all say this, but look how much was raised for children in need, also the new james bond film made a box office record on its first night, so there is still money out there
-
they must have made james bond and children in need priority!
-
i do carpet cleaning, and this is the busiest time of the year for us, always has been, used to be busy for car valeting too when i used to do that, iv been really busy the last few weeks, i think you have to have a positive attitude, you have already admitted defeat by the sounds of it
-

its certainly not the best time for any business, but i do think the press have a lot to answer for, seems to be a lot of people starting up in business too recently, apparantly business link have had a record number of enquiries the last few months

I know some one down in the south east that does presure washing, mainly drives etc. He says its quiet in the winter months. Its mainly a summer job he says.
i dont know the kit you have he has a diesel presure washer install in the back of his van. Lovely bit of kit.
He said wont pick up till february... possibly later

Dont think you will get lots of work in your line at this time of year and weather ???
Try and get into hard floor cleaning or something to go with your pressure washing and that will take you through all year earning good money :)
