Title: airlock question

you guys using the very tall di vessels - do you suffer with air locks? I'm wondering if the level in the tank falls below say half the height of the di will it tend to suck the water back out of the di to bring it down to the tank level when the pump is switched off? If you see what i mean.

Put a none return connector in the line between the tank and the DI
