Title: Wanted DI vessel
Post by: ftp on November 10, 2008, 12:27:40 pm
Getting tired now of getting airlocks in my DI in the van. I know the threads are knackered so i have to 'pull' the water through because it won't take any pressure. I intend ditching the thing altogether and fitting one after the ro on my static tank. So whats' the best one to buy? Needs the push fit fittings and needs to be fairly large any suggestions?
How about two of these in tandem?

You sure that's a DI?  Looks like a cartridge prefilter to me ;)

It is, because i can't find one with quarter inch push fit connections to plug into my ro.

Two of the above 700 ml DI canisters in tandem should work fine.

Push fits: any hydraulic or pneumatic supplier will stock John Guest (or similar) fittings with screw threads to attach to most thread sizes
