I think there is a fundamental design flaw with portable machines :'( :'( they are too big & heavy!
so I've had an idea which I think will revolutionise portable design. don't fit a pump or freshwater tank!! just have a a huge wet vac.
Now here's the clever bit ;) build a pump in a box which you sit on the work surface next to the kitchen sink, it has a pipe which either syphons out of the sink or connects onto the kitchen tap. Then you just connect your solution line onto this,...... problem solved! you machine is now half the weight & size. Plus you can use a big 1000psi pump because you are not limited by the space inside your portable
I think I will patent this Idea tomorrow :)

It's too messy, a box here and a wet pick up there, get a small porti and put loads of chem in the tank it'll clean like billy 'o'.

What about the adition of chemicals ? where do they come into the equation ;D

Chemical feed after the pump,

chemicals!!! who uses chemicals any more, don't we all rinse with fresh water ;) ;)
I once attached a hose to the tap, direct to my wand and cleaned with that!! so a pump would be a step up!

this machine already uses this principle

Principle appears to be the same, with direct hook up to a tap and based on high water flow. The one posted is a bit more boxy !

Rob it is the new steamin demon.

Sorry I just dont like your attitude, particulary about immigration, my Mum is an illegal immigrant and strives daily to get more benefits and yet she still has to work on the black market and sign on twice a month, wheres the justice?
-
While I understand your feelings, I will make no comment on my feelings about what constitutes " justice " as we will have very different views.

Or buy a Alltec portable and you can take the pump and motors out in 40secs and make it alot lighter to move around.

If you get board so easily about things to do with cc in 2 mins, why come on here ? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ???
-
That is a very interesting machine which appears to have a lot going for it. Too innovative for some, perhaps!!!
It's presumably been designed to compliment their rotary, but could obviously be used with carpet wands.

This looks a pretty cool piece of kit! :) I have in the past complained on here about the size of powerfull portables, so this would appear to have that covered, certainly in conjuction with a rotovac!
I cant see how many psi this works at? Having said that i guess that is less important when used with the Rotavac.
The 360 also looks a good machine, but how usable is it on a day to day basis for normal residential rooms?
cheers

If it had 3 vac motors you could van mount it and have the worlds smallest TM.
