Does anyone do any work for this company, reason I ask, we have a lot of blocks of flats and Countrywide have just taken over as the new managing agent and won’t to know 1/ are the good at paying on time! 2/ do the put the work out to tender each year or just an ongoing agreement!

as for paying ..good but had to set up BACS...good luck..

i do a bit for them.
payment depends on your individual property manager if they have funds in that site you get paid but if they dont they keep you hanging on, ive one job which is 9 weeks since inv.
all property companies are the same...... a pain in the arse i packed in johnson cooper a few months back they were good for 2 years then really started messing me around owed me 3k for 4mths

only communal parts i do for them on 1 block been doing it 25 years so i would say no...lol

Many thanks chaps, some good and bad, its a pain as we have waited up to 7 months on some blocks that we do for the last company (david glass association / wood managment) problem is each block has it own acount and if funs are not there we dont get paid!

I do some work for them and its just an on going agreement(15 years now).
They pay me 3/4 weeks after invoicing,always been very good.

I did some carpet cleaning quoting for them in cleveland yorks,spent a long time putting it together for them and was promised the earth and got nothing in retuern for my time so be careful.

You might want to keep a close eye on payments and amounts outstanding this year!!
