Title: new shape fiat scudo 1.6??
Post by: peekeclean on November 03, 2008, 07:58:26 pm
Has anyone got a Fiat Scudo Comfort 90bhp Multijet and if so what size tank and out fit you got.
Iv been told they are like rockets but my instinct says a 1.6 turbo van full of kit will be a bit gutless, so who has got one??even though it has a 1200kg payload can it pull it?

any pic?

thanks joe

they do it in a bigger engine I was looking at a 2nd hand expert (same van) myself a bit pricey with it still been new....... On saying that it would be the ideal van for the job especially if it was going to be a multi purpose vechile.

Out of interest I've got a 2yr old doblo 1.3 multijet diesel and have a 400L tank. It pulls fine. But I'm all local work - no long runs but it's ok at 70/80mph.

If the 1.6 is as or more advanced than the 1.3 then I think it'll be fine for a 500/650L.

i bought the new shape fiat scudo deluxe, 2 ltrs tdi , lwb  with aircon plus other extra  back in may 07 when there first came out , now done 21k , had first services at 20 k, cost £134 pounds for services, nearly due for 4 new tyres, only problem ive had which still isn,t fixed by the fiat garage is a clucking noise coming from front suspension , van due in garage this Saturday for noise , ive fitted a 400ltrs tank behind steel bulkhead, if anybody has same size engine what mpg are you getting
