Ive got an Hyundai H100(like a carpet fitters van) had it for a year and my mate owned it before me for3 years ..its done 140000 miles and still going strong :)

Toyota Hi Ace
Nissan Tri Star
VW
Any Fords
Hyundi
I am talking second hand here. Resonably reliable. Not to much goes wrong with them.
Had a Renault and at 100,000 was costing me an average of £100 + a month in repairs.(Pro rata over 1 year).
Now gone back to a Ford.
-
1) ford
2) ford
3) ford
parts are easy to get.
servicing dosen't cost the earth.
personally found them reliable.

for reliability I don't think anything is going to beat the Toyota Hi-ace, I haven't got one but I know quite a few tradesmen who drive the Hi-ace and none of them (to my knowledge) has ever had a problem with them - Toyota are well known for their reliabilty.
If Honda made a VTEC van then that would be reliable, and fast.

ROBIN RELIANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Hiace.....even better than my Audi A4 :P

once my vivaro has had its 3 years it will be gone and i will be buying brand new transits.
vivaro packed up on me yesterday it cost me £330 for a alternator, a days earnings plus I had to pay wages!
they look pretty but are unreliable. my tranny is as sound as they come!!

Take the back seats out of a Suzuki Vitara and you have a WFP vehicle that has plenty of room and for all weathers. Mine has 177,000 and is still going well, just flew through another MOT.
