how can I reduce the pressure on my pump when idle as it swells up my hose and sometimes bursts the ends off
there is a little alan key on the pressure valve which way do I turn it please in or out

Anti clockwise should reduce the pressure. On the 100 PSI shurflow you can dial it down to 60 PSI, which is still enough to push water to the top of a 60' pole!

i believe ionic systems use re branded pumps made by the "other company" there name escapes me at this moment!!!

unless they have changed they used to use aquatec pumps, had mine over three years.... no problem at all.

I used to have problems with ballooning in the hose and connectors failing, now I use the high pressure clear reinforced hose and brass connectors

Problems solved :)

Why not use the new Varistream, and just select whatever pressure you like?

my Ionic pumps are fine 3 years old now but this shurflo thing wow it needs carming down abit
