I want to order a split charge relay but want to make sure i get the right one, is it the one in link.

Also to those who have one in trafic or similar where do yo run the cable.

hi when i was looking for a split charging kit my mate who is a bit handy with electrical stuff said this is the one to buy, bit more money but seems to work well...

That is the same as my split charge unit - works great but if you mount the relay in the engine bay make sure the connections are facing downwards.
As with my first relay i mounted it with the connection upwards and water got in and rotted it.

Hi that looks like the one i bought from towsure for a tenner! fuse holder and wire £4 and i connect it to cigarette lighter socket another £1.25 used old flymo cable in orange just so i can see it. Works just fab!

a good auto electrician would charge between £40 and £60 for a decent split charge relay
