Title: gutter vacuming owners
Post by: *frank cannon on October 28, 2008, 07:54:27 pm
I have a couple of decent size contracts to complete with my gutter vac b4 the year end 31/3/09.

This means I am upgrading my van to allow for a tank to be fitted in to flush the downpipes. At the moment with WFP I have a static R/O  in my garage and use barrels with a trolley system.

So I will get a tank fitted into the van and pump the purified water in when doing window cleaning.

QUESTION is when doing gutter work  I will need access to my tank of water in the van for flushing downpipes, so I know its probably not ideal but would you  fill up the tank with normal water...will this have an affect on the TDS reading the next time the tank is filled with pure???

Thanks in advance Frank

If you run a di after the tank you'll probably get away with it provided it's drained right down before adding pure.

yes so long as you have pretty much drained it.. if you have say a 500+ litre tanks the ratio of pure to tap you wouldn't notice a change in tds.
