Sorry if this has been asked 1000's of times,
But do you have any tips for cleaning oven efficiently?
(Part of my EOT cleaning shedule)
I currently use Lakeland Oven Mate, which is good, but I think it could be better, it often takes a couple of goes to get it to lift the grease.
Any thoughts suggestions?
Thanks,
Jay

Well, most oven cleaning chemicals work...
Best advice is when you get to the place thast being cleaned... go straight to the oven and soak it with the chemical of your preference...
Leave it while you are cleaning all the other bits and peices..
depending on the cleaner being used.. you can pre heat the oven this will lessen the cleaning time required especially with caustic cleaner... be careful on stainless steel... with the pre heat obviously keep it low temp as you need to be able to work with it the heat with out burning yourself...
I have found I can clean a really dirty oven burnt on great in under 1h 30 minutes with a heated oven...
You also need a scrapper with rounded edges....
Get your self some drip/soaker trays... so you can lay the racks in the chemical to soak. You can also place the hobs parts in there as well...
hope it helps

I use a caustic cleaner from Capital Cleaning supplies they are based in Aylesford nr Maidstone.
You will need to wear gloves as it does burn!!!!
Dont forget 1h 30 minutes is a pre heated oven with soaker trays. that include oven and hob but not the hood if it has one.
