If you give us a bit of background about yourslf, what you want to achieve in CC and where you are based the quality of the answers you will get will be far better.

Your answer, or anybody elses can only be based on the question posed and the information supplied.

I'm getting slightly irritated by the 'Wots the best machine?' questions when there's 20 different answers. Nothing personal. ::)

Hi S barker

I once said that this forum holds the answer to any question that can be asked about cc   Just use the search and all your  questions will be answered.

Bet no one can think of a question about carpet cleaning that hasn't been answered excluding brand new innovations even then its usually  a  old thing repackaged .

Happy searching     Ronnie  ;D

its a woodbridge, and  contrary to what some may say a great machine ,
the burner can easily be sorted out  , and it will give you faster and hotter than most t/ms available,
the kubota engine  one of the best you will get,

Go on Kev, that's loose change to you. ;D

Simon

Going out with a CC would be an excellent start.

re Machine, I would advise speaking to Matt at Cleansmart supplies who has a number of offerings. However! The main thing they do which I'm suprised they don't make more of is if you buy a machine from them you get a full blown marketing guide specifically for carpet cleaners.

If you did everything in that manual (which for most is the problem) you would have no trouble building a business.

Use the search facility on here and check th CC forum box. Then spend a week or two chewing it over. Make a list of questions then come back on here and post them.

You can also buy th odd generic markting book off amazon too.

I read somewhere that carpet cleaning is recession proff but I do take your point I would take another job on a part time basis. I've had a read before I posted and even found out what a truck mount. Websites seem to be the order of the day next to leaflets but the content has to be spot on.

Before you jump in why don't you ask Mark a dp design to send you some leaflet designs or you can have a look at some on line.

www.cheapleaflets.net/html/a5_samples.html

Personally I'd talk to someone who has been doing the job for about less than 12 months Derek West has his head screwed on albeit it the wrong way ;D and Paul from Kinder clean they will point you in the direction of good new deals etc.

If you are after immediate returns then CC won't deliver. If however you think you could put your heart and soul into it and cadge off the Mrs for a year then fair enough.

Part time might be a better option but you still have to shell out for insurance, equipment, advertising with a smaller return.
