Hi all just wondering what the best percentage of work youve aquired from leaflets as iv been told the 6.7% from mine was a good rate
-
Looks good to me, as I was told that I was to expect around 3 - 5% for a typical leaflet drop.

the leaflet industry as a whole expect between a quarter and a half percent, if they get 1% they are ecstatic, if they et 2 % they get booldy paranoid because they cannot cope with the demand.
funny old world ehh
cheers
-
Paul,
I want to know what you are selling as I see your MSN is somthing like lover-man
;D ;D ;D
If I was getting 6.7% I would be amazed.
If I was getting 1% I would be happy.
-
Well im selling carpet cleaning as a main stay but ive stayed away from the usual prices and gone for something more scare tactics style
-
I dont beleive you could get a return like that if you were to be giveing it away.
Good luck hope it lasts for you
Cheers

I dont give anything away all i did was make people think about whats going on in there carpets and then they belive they need them cleaning
-
Ive got a Massive Dust Mite in mine and I do not get that response.
Despite the scare stories.
And of course How Marvelous my cleaning system is compared to anybody elses etc etc
-
Ill post up my leaflet and then you can see
-
i generally get a hit rate of 5 percent for offices and factorys and 3 percent when i do houses. i normally do about 250 leaflets at a time for car valetng
-
I haven't bothered using leaflets yet, I seem to be getting at least 1 client per week from the Yellow Pages, but I am planning on sticking a few under windscreen wipers when the better weather comes. Seems a simple way of doing it without wasting too much valuable time. Say i I am parked up at the supermarket or especially DIY stores as I will be there shopping, take say half an hour more and do the windscren jobs. Even if I only get 1 ccustomer, I would be surprised and happy ;D

Jan,
Can I warn you there is an act going through parliament, currentley in House of Lords, which will mean that you will have to check with the Local Authority before you hand out leaflets in streets or put them on Cars.
Local Authorities will have authority to make area a no Leaflet Zone.
Its to stop all these bars and night clubshanding out their prmo stuff.
It does not apply to distribution through Letterboxes.
It will probably get Royal Assent before The General Election.
Basicly you will have to check if area has been designated a No Leaflet Zone.
I think Local Authorities will just make a blanket order.
The fines arequite stiff.
Paul
We all look forward to seeing your leaflet.
