Today's Handy Tip

By all means clean pre-Victorian windows with a 45' Superlite modular pole....

But, don't bother cleaning them with 45' at an angle of about 33 degrees in 25 mile an hour cross wind!
Unless of course you want to make the letter S with your pole!
I'm not a well man!

PJ,

Frequently while working (Like you, I work with my Missis >:(), Wor Lass will say, 'I need the toilet', and I'll reply with 'can't you hang on till we finish these next ten houses'; then she gets cross with me and I say, 'look, Mrs Smith is out at No 32, why don't you 'water her plants'' and then she gets even crosser; bluntly insinuates that I've got no 'understanding' and often uses the words 'Geordie' and 'thick' in the same sentance.

Anyway, what's the best sized squeegy to use on large panes of glass?

best tip is ,get a van with no glass in?

so you can have a wee when your desperate, in a spare bucket ;D

It would have to be in one of those massive green Unger buckets (thank Allah Wor Lass doesn't read these forums).

I get the same as my missis come's out quite a bit with me.
Luckily most of my work is close to home.
But it can get a pain as i get behind a house or so.

i met up with a window cleaner mate, he had a large container of washing up liquid in the back of his van so i picked up to look at the side with the label, but there wasnt one, so i asked 'what makes this then'

he replied 'its my big bottle of p1ss'  whilst in fits of laughter

the handy hint is dont pick up any bottles from other wc's vans!!

we have a box trailer system and my missus has a porta loo to use. a lot more civilised .
