Just been too busy to put mine on :P

dave
there just holiday snaps, i was hoping for all you guys in front of your set ups. like the van and prowler with you and the misses or employees stood in front of it, personal but business like at the same time, that way we all know who what how, etc...
bad idea i guess, don't know why though. i was looking froward to all the different types of set ups and putting a face to some of the threads.
hey ho, say lavvy.

Hmm, pictures of us all....
I think some things are best left to the imagination :)
-
I've just had my van sign written today and when I get my digital camara back from lending it out I will take you a pic.
Here's one for now
(http://)
-
nice one shaun
wheres ya fresh water?
she looks mischievious, looking forward to the signage.
derek
-
here
-
ok!!!!
no hose reel?
either your a snake charmer or a grecko roman wrestler. ;D
derek
-
Shaun where does everything else go?
I mean, once you've bolted your hose reel in where do you put your vac, agitator, wands and all the other bits and pieces that go with the job?
Cheers Goron
-
c'mon goron, lets see you and yours.
derek
-
There's a nice space between the reel and the shelves to the left, I get my sebo vac, wand, rake and CRB machine with a little room left, on teh shelving which I have got more on the other side of the can I have more chem and small brushes and nappies and at the bulk head I put stair tool and 3 uph tools and a spotting kit.
Shaun
-
This is mine and me!
My machine is old and well used so never taken any pics of it!
Cheers Goron
Ps. I have a lot more space than Shaun in the back of mine!
-
nice one goron. van signage looks awesome, i'm guessing its reflective blue on the "carpet knights" and phone number, stands out so much it looks like youve cut and pasted onto photo.
and it looks like a few sleepless nights with the new babs.
derek
-
Yes Derek it is reflective!
She was 4 last month so not too bad now! Anyway aren't you meant to just lie there and pretend your asleep!
Cheers Goron
-
That's what got your missus into trouble in the first place!
-
;D
-
After having larger vans I opt for as small as posible, I have a few good customers where I have to park in odd places and then there are the new ones with the in thing of having electric gates but a canopy over the top.
Shaun
-
i don't pretend, nothing wakes me up. ;D
derek
-
shaun, you and the missus look very young to be using a truck-mount!!!
;D ;D
-
I've always thought Shaun looks young for someone in his 50s
-
come on colin, man and van please, don't be shy.
and you ozzy!
derek
-
It's a very big TM!
Shaun
-
Not got any sensible pictures of me and my CC kit...
... so here's me giving a really drunk Dutch guy a wedgie. Note the shocking choice of underwear.
-
was it just me or did everyone who didnt know jim think he was a wissoned old man preaching from a temple in eastern budhaton (on sea). all we need now is your set up jim.
why is there no porti set ups on here, i know theres some good ens, steve chapman, clinton, cmon guys don't let the porti's down.
and doug, lets see that beauty of a truckmount.
derek
-
Same here, I thought he was old, he sounds old on here. Maybe it is not him at all ??? but then again if you were going to pretend to be someone else you wouldn't choose that bloke would you ;D
Derek I thought YOU were young didn't I, so wrong on both counts. Again.
-
I didn't say how old the photo was, and also didn't mention how much I spend on Oil of Ulay either 8)
P.S. "He" ???
makes it sound like you're sitting in the same room as your grandad, talking about him whilst his hearing aid is switched off :-\
-
its olay jim not ulay, they changed the name some years ago, i should know, i'm 173 on tuesday, bloody good stuff.
derek
now wheres my pictures, cmon you lot. it brightens the day.
-

I was ;D ;D ;D
-
Git!!
Many happy returns Derek, lets hope the missus gets you a special treat... maybe some lubricant? :P
For your zimmer frame wheels of course ;D
-
Is that son of Jim, I thought you were an old git, not because of snowflake just your post sound like an old guy. ;D
-
Lol, and by contrast some old gits write posts that my mate's 1-year old daughter could do a better job of :)
Exactly why I said above, some things are best left to the imagination! Once people jump to certain conclusions about other people from the things they write, then they jump to other conclusions based on the way they look.
You can't truly work people out on a forum, it's all bull :D
That photo is a few years old, funny, I only threw those trainers in the bin yesterday, comfiest trainers I've ever owned! But they finally fell apart :(
-
Lol, and by contrast some old gits write posts that my mate's 1-year old daughter could do a better job of :)
Who could he mean :-[ ;D
Have you seen the latest batch then before they get binned :-X
-
Yep, laughing all the way to the geriatric ward :D
-
still no porti set ups on here, cmon guys, who'll be the first, lets see ya and ya set up. be interesting to see how the other half do it as i'll be getting one possibly early next year.

Like that set up v nice one of the best ones i have seen great colouring on your van :)
Derek going to post my picie this weekend.
Am the same derek thought jim sounded much older sorry jim :o
-
thanks guys.I heard susan's van looks good but havn't seen it.
Derek, it's mouted in the back because it was easier,it's on a skip, you just unbolt it and a forklift can take it out for easy serviceing.
-
Will post some when wife returns from China in 3 weeks-
in the meantime - Jim Neal, is this your van? ::) You spelt neal differently just to throw us off the scent. ;D
I remember you said you were at Carpex this year in Coventry when I mentioned I'd been out in the car park taking photos of all the vans for ideas on sign writing!!!
Well??? Did inspector James solve the mystery? ;D
Paul
-
I think that belongs to Neil Pratt, based in Devon ;)
I actually bought a couple of things off him that day.
You were about 100 yards from my yellow peril over there!
-
ancient chinese history says that the wise one (jim neal) has a cleanmaster or (cleaningmaster)franchise and therefore you just need to look at the cleanmaster website and you'll see a van that looks like the wise one.

Ian, the board doesn't let you insert a picture into a post, you have to upload it as an attachment.
P.S. Ever had a tweetup? lol

derek
-
Not got the van done as yet as i have only had propper business van insurance since Sept this year ::)
And in all honesty i will be looking for a new one come jan, mine is 1996 and time to change it,had it 3 years and it`s been pretty reliable.apart from clutch and turbo going.
Also a little worried about telling people i have thousands of ££ worth of gear in the back ! will be fitting an alarm in the next one !
Aw thanks good to hear that from a fellow pro !
Dryer in action (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v452/delk/Picture015.jpg)
Nowt wrong with my dancing !(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v452/delk/mrdthatsall1.gif)
-
Is their a reason for not leaving your porty outside ?
imho, much better for the custy, no fumes etc in custs home.
Geoff
-
Most of the time it is outside, but the house i was cleaning in the pic was huge, even with 50ft of pipe it was not quite long enough to get to the furthest room.and that is why the door was open ;D
