dave
there just holiday snaps, i was hoping for all you guys in front of your set ups. like the van and prowler with you and the misses or employees stood in front of it, personal but business like at the same time, that way we all know who what how, etc...
bad idea i guess, don't know why though. i was looking froward to all the different types of set ups and putting a face to some of the threads.
hey ho, say lavvy.

Shaun where does everything else go?

I mean, once you've bolted your hose reel in where do you put your vac, agitator, wands and all the other bits and pieces that go with the job?

There's a nice space between the reel and the shelves to the left, I get my sebo vac, wand, rake and CRB machine with a little room left, on teh shelving which I have got more on the other side of the can I have more chem and small brushes and nappies and at the bulk head I put stair tool and 3 uph tools and a spotting kit.

nice one goron. van signage looks awesome, i'm guessing its reflective blue on the "carpet knights" and phone number, stands out so much it looks like youve cut and pasted onto photo.
and it looks like a few sleepless nights with the new babs.

After having larger vans I opt for as small as posible, I have a few good customers where I have to park in odd places and then there are the new ones with the in thing of having electric gates but a canopy over the top.

Same here, I thought he was old, he sounds old on here. Maybe it is not him at all  ??? but then again if you were going to pretend to be someone else you wouldn't choose that bloke would you  ;D

Derek I thought YOU were young didn't I, so wrong on both counts. Again.

Lol, and by contrast some old gits write posts that my mate's 1-year old daughter could do a better job of :)

Exactly why I said above, some things are best left to the imagination!  Once people jump to certain conclusions about other people from the things they write, then they jump to other conclusions based on the way they look.

You can't truly work people out on a forum, it's all bull :D

That photo is a few years old, funny, I only threw those trainers in the bin yesterday, comfiest trainers I've ever owned!  But they finally fell apart :(

Derek, it's mouted in the back because it was easier,it's on a skip, you just unbolt it and a forklift can take it out for easy serviceing.

Will post some when wife returns from China in 3 weeks-

in the meantime - Jim Neal, is this your van?  ::) You spelt neal differently just to throw us off the scent.  ;D

I remember you said you were at Carpex this year in Coventry when I mentioned I'd been out in the car park taking photos of all the vans for ideas on sign writing!!!

Well??? Did inspector James solve the mystery?  ;D

I think that belongs to Neil Pratt, based in Devon ;)

I actually bought a couple of things off him that day.

You were about 100 yards from my yellow peril over there!

ancient chinese history says that the wise one (jim neal) has a cleanmaster or (cleaningmaster)franchise and therefore you just need to look at the cleanmaster website and you'll see a van that looks like the wise one.

Not got the van done as yet as i have only had propper business van insurance since Sept this year  ::)

And in all honesty i will be looking for a new one come jan, mine is 1996 and time to change it,had it 3 years and it`s been pretty reliable.apart from clutch and turbo going.
Also a little worried about telling people i have thousands of ££ worth of gear in the back ! will be fitting an alarm in the next one !
Aw thanks good to hear that from a fellow pro !

Most of the time it is outside, but the house i was cleaning in the pic was huge, even with 50ft of pipe it was not quite long enough to get to the furthest room.and that is why the door was open  ;D
