I have a Transit with a 650ltr tank and you hardly notice it is in there
Three replies and three different vans  ;D it also depends on your own preferences

Ive heard the those have gearbox issues around 70,000 miles. Perhaps you should also look into reliability issues for any van your thinking of getting.

Any problems that occured where on the earlier models, hes buying new, i have a trafic, if you are going to buy a model like the trafic, vivaro or primaster id say go for the trafic as you get more for your money i.e you get air con, reverse sensors and a few other bits compared to the vivaro which will come standerd, this may be different where you are but a plumber mate of mine has just bought one and vauxhall couldnt match.

Been really pleased with my Peugeot Expert -

comfortable driving position and just running in the diesel engine now

pulls the weight no problem and handles well

Chris

Thanks for the info, i really like the look of the traffic style vans - hoping to get one latter end of 2009 or early 2010. If they still do them, otherwise will be looking at something else.

French vans, caused me a right nightmare, new engine at 39k on clock, if buying new its 3 years so them miles they can pay, mine cost me best part of 2k and 5k in lost work, that was 4 years old

Swiss leasing do good deals on VW Transporter T5s, you end up paying less in total at the end of 4 year lease than you would paying the book price. Go for the 132ps T32.

i have a 03 88bhp & 07 120 bhp. You can not fault them.

The new version is the best, & it is a dream to drive.
