Post by: martinsadie on October 17, 2008, 08:09:58 pm
just had a customer ring me up to say that he is moving and not to clean again,i find that really nice as normally you turn up to find them gone and sometimes even clean the odd window before you realise

I had that happen last week but she was the village vicar, when we were in the area we noticed she had left all her curtains up, so we would have cleaned as normal if it wasn't for her call.

Most people are nice and let us know, however, we do a big RAF base and they are forever just "vanishing" off without paying.  I am now friendly with the housing officer and he forwards my invoices to them via their new commanding officer, I never fail to get paid!

Dont they ask you to do the 'Marchout' cleans? I used to do one of these military bases and regularly had the final cleans to do, inside and out.
