Quoted for a builders clean and employed the cleanitup calculation method of thinking of a price, multiplying it by 4 and adding £20.00 and what do you know, I got the job. Now all I need is a scratched glass waiver. Can anyone help out?

I've got one that covers tempered and heat strengthened glass. Got to cover them both in the waiver or you give them a loophole. You can e-mail me if you need another one to look at. ;)

Sometimes this forum is better than Blackadder or Fawlty Towers, I loved the way you put that, too professional, so funny ;D ;D

I think you've got to price these one-off jobs like you don't want them; high.
But I wouldn't worry too much about the waiver; it may seem like you're being a pain in the ass.
Why don't you just check the glass before you start (a local window cleaner to me had problems with 'pre-scratched glass') and test a discrete area of each pane of tempered glass to see that they're okay before you start?
I don't think scratched glass due to poor manufacturing techniques is a common problem; but I acknowledge it exists.

I checked one while I was with him and it was scratched. It looked like someone tried to wipe something off and scratched the glass. i did mention I would need a waiver signed and he was more than happy to do so. Would hate to do the job and get hassle for scratched glass.

Absolutely, better safe than sorry!
