Go to Ipaf.org and check out your local training provider.
Its usually much cheaper to get a handful of 'codes' under your belt in one day...1b 2b 3a 3b etc etc etc..
Normal rate seems to be around £150 for one class - but you can add other classes to your licence for an additional £15.00 each (if you do them on the same day).
Check out the website and give your local provider a ring.
Probably worth doing all of them on the same day!

Own back - I just contacted the local hire depot and they gave me the details ;D
Like David says do as many cats in a day as you can as its much cheaper ;)

i went on a MEWP course 2 weeks ago. it cost me £175 + vat and was for scissor lifts. the course consists of a multiple choice exam , 25 questions. - you need to get 80% correct, then the instructor goes throught the questions the group got wrong. then there is a video, then you are given a booklet, then you take the test again - but you can use the booklet! then you get about 5 minutes manouvering a scissor lift about, avoiding manholes and not bumping into anything. then you pass. in our group there were 6 on the course and 3 passed, but 1 didn't want to pass, 1 was dislexic and the other didn't like heights! (no kidding). do the course if you'll use it and earn from it, if not don't bother. you don't get a certificate for your kitchen wall. ;)
