I just sold off my 135 ninja, and got a 500psi Rhino much more power new one!
I used it last saturday for 20 mins and it stoped spraying, jets clean trigger had to be replaced, today I got 1 hour out of it and the same has happend again, and worse the front wheels have started to buckle under the weight of the front water tank, and I had to say sorry to custy this was a office! and pack up,this machine has been used twice, and both accounts cant complete the job,its going back in the morning, any one had these probs with this machine!

Hi Terry
I've never had a Rhino of any description, so can't comment on your problems from experience.
I presume that you're not running @ 500. For most domestics I rarely need to exceed the low 200's psi.
Does the valve on your tool have a valve suitable to the higher performance pump? Your old Ninja wand may only be rated for lower performance. Your old solution hose will not be suitable either.
The problem may be down to poor assembly or dirt in the system. Is there a filter? Try cleaning your solution tank, filling with fresh water and bleeding it through an open hose into a clean bucket, then look for any contaminants.
There's really little advice that can be offered without an inspection. Be carefull not to meddle and create warranty issues.
Safe and happy cleaning :)

The front wheels buckling under the weight of a full water tank is what alarms me most.
I can see you having to get an expensive reinforcing job done here in the future.
Too early to be having major problems like that.
-
Send the flipping thing back, get your money back. The things knackered mate,it must be driving you round the twist.
-
I seem to remember Simon Gerrard having a problem with one of his RHino's, although I think that was to do with the vacuum (New machines)
Dave.

Send it back and get a replacement, if its the same get a full refund. I am sure you would have the law on your side.

The wheels shoul not be buckling one bit even with a full waste and fresh tank.
Is the base plastic or what is is made off ???

Hi guys this happend this sunday gone I used it for 3 jobs on 2 jobs it broke down! went back first thing this morning, said I simply have a bad machine when it was working it was the dogs! the wheels buckled because the exhaust
underneath was not fixed correctly,so unknown to me it went back into the case
inside, where it got very hot!so much so it started to bow the underneath case!
with a full tank of water the wheels started to meet in the middle :o plus the machine stopped spraying again for the 2nd time! they are lending me one untill a complete new model comes in,un lucky me ??? if it gives me problems again I will ask for money back, but truly is a brill machine when working ::)

Hi Terry
When I saw your post on the Rhino you had bought my immediate thought was how long before problems occur.
I have heard of several CC's having problems but like you say the performance is excellent when they work.
Cheers

Hi doug I think I am unlucky most of these have no probs they are very good pipeing hot in line heater! 500 psi,the exhaust hose was not fixed correctly, hence loads of heat went inside the case of machine causing the pump to possible over heat ??? as this was the 2nd time it did it stopped spraying,I am being loaned another, and they are going to replace with a brand new one,but If I get probs with the new one, then its money back time!
-
;D getting a total new replacement friday rightly so I thought ???
-
;D got a total replacement! there was a plate missing from the front wheels support bar was not fixed hence thats why machine was bending on the front, works like a dream gots really hot, spec wise for the money very good indeed ;D same spec for ninja £2,400 + ???
-
The explanation makes sense, but makes me wonder about a huge loss of potential use for the heat, yes I know about perfect heat, but I've always wondered about the wasted energy from exhaust heat.
Good service appears to have got Terry back on the road and without loss.
-
yes all is good so far ;D cant complain just cant understand getting a duff machine ??? but the one I have now for value is the dogs whatsitts ;D would recomend ;D
-
how much did the machine cost you terry, after we got a crap machine from one supplier i wont name we have always stook with the ninja from ashbys as they have always been very reliable but like you said they are very costly to buy.
-
:DTrev we paid £1200 for a 500 psi in line heater it is the dogs ;D :o power heat
Ashbys would want £2400 plus! ??? it has big wheels so you just tip the machine
back roll on to van!job jone ;D very good
