Hi all.
Whats the best sort of connecter to couple microbore to the pole hose
I use ez snap connecters on the leather belt holder. This has been the best so far to control the flow between window ect. However they leak like mad and I'm getting chuffed off with them.
I have just tried the pure freedom valve that sits on the pole and managed to rip it off inside two days I also found it spins as the velcro did not seem to hold it in place.
So what do you use as I need to re-think this.

Are the EZ-Snap connectors leaking or is it the connection from the hose to the barb fitting?

Must be a duff one. I use them and they last until the little retainer collar wears off due to being dragged along the ground, then the circlip pops off and all the little ball bearings ping out. The I put a new one on.
Never had one leak, except when I trod on the male fitting and squashed it, then it leaked and it wouldn't fit in properly.

pure freedom valve , put duck tape on pole then valve and use tie wraps through bracket to hold it in place , then if you need to remove it just cut tie wraps

Have they leaked from new? If not, one of them may have got damaged, perhaps the male end which is causing a poor seal inside? Is it worth spending a couple of pounds replacing the male end and seeing if it stops it?

i find the ez snap connectors are not very good, i used proffesional and they used to last ages but the
vut i changed cause i wanted flow controller, i am careful but they last about 4 weeks without leaking

Put a protection ball or something else on the end of your hose to save damaging the EZ connectors being dragged along the ground or walk back to your vehicle with the end of hose and connection in your hand to save it being dragged and damaged.
