Can't believe (D)UNGer is leading.

Load of cheap plasticy crap, at not-cheap prices.

Ettore is 20x the quality.

Ok. ::)

Unger rubber cuts up in 5 minutes.
Absolutely useless.

I has an dUnger microfibre, but I've since found a much better one at half the price.

i found the best microfibre to be the stuff they sell in asda for cars, they are really big cloths, and i get the mrs to sew a couple together on sewing machine so they dont come loose! They are great as they have a really thick pile rather than the microfibre that is almost shiny, i dont like it..

Gear wise i always stuck to unger and was happy, only problem i found with trad was i always mashed my squegee handles every day almost by dropping them and so then the blade would come loose!! aaargh i hated that!

I have only ever used unger, they have a far better range of equipement available than other brands, there poles are excellent, and although its cheap plastic. Its tough and very light and versatile. the 0 degree sqeegee's are excellent for pole work and I like the fact that you can change the angle on the sqeegees, it has came in really handy at times.

One thing i dont have and would like is the flexi brush it looks really cool.

The only thing I might choose over Ungers products might be ettore's bucket on a belt, and only because the clip has a seperate loop for easy removal. but for now I am sticking with Ungers.

Unger the professionals choice?

It's Toys r us squeegees seriously, ettore is superbly balanced, and is 10x the squeegee Unger is. Ungers bucket is strong (the one with the casters), their poles are okay, I'm using them atm, simply because I never knew about the harris pole 2 years ago. Flipping costed me £80 that 20ft Unger pole. Their buckets on a belt aren't great either.

Ettore squeegee off is one of the best liquids I have used, and will always use it for insides.

Unger rubber is pants, Ettore or SYR.

Roger, what microfibres are you using at the moment? My Unger cloths have seriously given up now after quite some time. :)

I suppose Im used to unger after using them for a long time.

I agree that the ettore sgueegee is much better and the sgueegee off is excellent but the unger rubber works for me.

those light blue ones from wcw are same as soap nationals budget ones
not very good
micros have their uses but in long run a large collection of good quality well washed scrim is more use

Can't be the same ones then.
These are very good.
Twice as quick and less smears than Unger.

Interesting.
I find they don't hold enough water for sills or any mopping up.
Great for buffing and detailing though.
I use a scrim for mopping up.

Funny how people find things different isn't it... ???

Have to agree with you on that one, nothing apart from a beer mat (something I would not use ) mops like a scrim. detail micros do come in to there own, dont know why they just done a better job than a scrim. They dry your hands out big time though  :'(

I have used allot of microfibers over the course of time, but after trying about 20 different types I now just stick to ones that you get out of tescos for about 30p. However for the most part I use Unger scrims for detailing. I only switch to the microfibers now if I am doing pole work, and I started using microfibers but moved away from them as they were ringing after about 2 mins.
