Hi all,
I am always bumping in to local celebs where I live and am thinking of using some in my marketing. Maybe doing some free work for them if I can use their face on my leaflets etc... Does anyone else do this and are there any pitfalls?
TIA
John

depending on which celebrity, not only will you have to do it for free but you'll also have to pay them £5000? maybe £10,000?. maybe a lot more?

hi i have work with a number of celebrity customers and would never ask them for help with marketing as most would dump you.for just asking
this dueto when there at home its a very private world for them and they dont like any one to know were the live
they best i have found is them recomending you to there friends i pick up a lot of work this way

Create your own. Might even be a a little cartoon type character
Or Skywalker says
Two friends of mine in double glazing did this very well.
Anothe used a Wanted Poster and became a wanted man for offering the best replacement window package on the planet.

I would name drop when I was doing a quote but no more than that.

The best way to do it is through the charities they patronise, plus you get all the publicity surrounding the charity work and everyone connected with the charity will want to use you.

I cleaned Jordan's carpets, not sure a picture of her on my site would do me too
many favours. ::)

as long as you didn't clean her rug, don't think peter would of been happy.

Don't think she's got any rug, from the last pictures I saw ;D

You might get lost in her rug ;D

Why, has she got a big shaggy one now? :o

I spent two days at their house, without all of the jollop on her face, she looks
pretty ordinary. They are down to earth people, it's just a show when they are on tv.... Make up every
other square ft though.
