Can anyone help on this.
Can you use WFP to clean glass in pool area.
Do you use wet pickup machine or leave it to run in pool. If machine then i suppose it has to be 110.
Would the pool water be ok, i could use portable system to pump it. What is swimming pool water like i.e. chlorine additive on glass.
Anybody that does these help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Gary

just let it go in the water. its pure. You wouldnt want to start pumping and using the chlorine water, it will have a HUGE tds!!

I have cleaned a few with wfp, just clean as normal and let the water go in the drains

just use your WFP with your own pure water, the water will run into the pool or the drain slots around the pool ( if it has them )
water with clorine in has the same TDS as without, i know, ive checked

scaffolding and the old blade. good time of year to do one. we did one last summer. nearly passed out it was that hot

an extetion pole with squeegee would be much easier X blade, feck using scafolding for internal windows. Though on topic and I dont think it would cause any problems using a WFP. Its probably the only time you could use a WFP internally.
Gerard :)
thats my 250th post! ;D ;D ;D

Done about 10 or more WFP pure water fine tds 0.05 , biggest problem is rinsing off , to get a good finish needs loads,[ no idea why ] on some i have to get in the water to get an angle to work at or to get to windows that cross the pool, it's also boiling in there .consulted H&S executive they have no problem with doing it that way, although they suggest it be done out of hours which means time constraints ie work fast [ see previous post HARD GRAFT ] All the best , send e-mail if any questions , :)

you will find around the bottom 3 ft, hard water marks ( thats if your in a hardwater area ) as people have splashed the windows with water
i just use my mop on this with some GG3 and give it a good scrub , though a floor mop with a bit of scotch pad would be better
-
This one had to be done trad because just below the windows were heating ducts and we couldn't afford water to get into the heating ducts.

that loked a nice job jeff, i like jobs that are differant, wish i took some photos of the job we did last summer over a pool. scaffolding the whole works.

It does make a change to do something different, but doing internals of swimming pools can be difficult with all the different shaped windows also if they have the pool in heating mode then it can also be come very hot while your working.

Cheers for the replies sounds good to go.
I,ll give it a try wfp from van.
Thanks again

they should,nt be a problem the water runs in to the drains but they still will need rinsing off has with the heat they will dry to quick and steam up

I have a job I do bi-monthly. It pays well but its very hot work. I use wfp, but the water pools on the floor so I use a floor squeegee to push the water into the drains around the pool.
I live in a soft water area but still hard water stains mark the glass especially in the summer months (heavy use so more splashes and quick drying on the glass) But a quick rub with MDR every couple of visits before the wfp sorts it.
