does anyone have a template for a disclaimer for graffiti removal?
I mean if the graffiti has been on a wall for a long time and you can't gaurentee 100% results.
Something that the client can sign
Thanks guys

never heard of anything like that cant see anybody giving anyone
a removal job if you want them to sign anything like that
they would say can you do the job or not wouldn't look very
professional would it
just my thoughts
good luck with it

Have you ever done graffiti removal?
If black graffiti is on light bricks and has been there for years, it is very unlikely that it will come off completely as the paint sinks into the brick.
I explain this to the customer before hand. It would actually be more professional if I had a document stating this. When you are talking about jobs that may cost £500 on chemicals before you start the job, everyone needs to know where they stand

We have just completed about 70 metres of graffiti on a store in Hayes - Middlesex.
Not just the odd tag - 3 x 4 metre tags - solid, with no wall showing underneath.
The wall was coated with anti graffiti coating and even that did not save the mortar from soaking up the paint.
Spoke to Roger Oakley, popped over to Tensid and got a couple of products - reading the data sheets - quite lethal products at that!! and still there is a very slight amount of ghosting that will not come off.
When the mortar mix is starting to come out around the brickwork, I have concluded that you can do no more!!!
99.9% removal is good enough for anyone!!!!

did you get your graffiti disclaimer template rich?
-
nope. looks like no-one uses one
-
how do you price up your graffiti? minimium of say £80 a tag?
-
yeah, including chemicals.
But if it was very local, i would charge maybe £60 if it was a very small job
-
yeah same here mate, sometimes it comes off quick and your happy but other times takes longer, hor would be great but so dear to buy. you could do with a regular contract to do it, but not so it ties up all your time, thats what im after.
-
ive contacted the local council, not didnt get a look in.
i do some work for a few maintanance companies which trickles a bit of work in
-
are you going to push it anymore, you should do rich, how did you get on with block job?
-
are you going to write a disclamer then? no harm is there. ???
-
Yeah I will be. Not sure when though yet.
... and as for that blockwork job, I still haven't heard anything. Its subbing for a decorator. So i submitted my price to him, then he'll submit it to them. I get quite a bit of work from the decorator, so there is no problem there, its just up to the customer. So once again, I'm playing the waiting game.........
