ive seen a pair of double 12 foot timber ladders for sale dirt cheap as they say is there anything besides the obvious to look out for ;) worth considering now the cooler temps are upon us maybe :-/

Cooler temps will be gone in about 8 weeks.

But higher re-sale value in ally, wouldn't he be better off with carbon-neutral timber frames?

I'd ask how heavy they are.

I bought a set of wooden ladders from ebay a few years ago and they weighed a ton.
