Hi
I have an Alltec Advantage HWE machine which is coming upto 500 hours service. Its recommended now to have a service but as i live in Tamworth, Staff B77 1PQ, i am trying to find someone more local to me to do it rather than having to take it to Alltec which is miles away in Royston.
Any one know someone in the Midlands who can do this?
Best regards
Jase

Hi
Had no replies to this - was just wondering if everyone has their HWE machine serviced or if most people service them themselves as they go along by checking filters, pipes etc on a regular basis? Is that sufficient?

Trevor Ives is Kidderminster way. 07971 271416.
I purchased my last Alltec machine through him and he's provided excellent service since then.
Safe and happy cleaning :)

If anyone knows where I can my Ninja serviced would be greatly appreciated

All you need to do is look in your local Yellow Page or Yell.co for cleaning equipment suppliers. Most of them will service machines as they are basically all the same. A couple of vac motors and a pump. Apart from renewing the bushes on the motors there is little else to do apart from checks.

I get my serviced at a local engineers, I popped in there one day when my brass trigger spray broke and they brazed it straight away so have used them since when needed.
As John said they are quite simple and most engineers will have an idea.

never have serviced mine, just replace pumps and vac motors myself as and when they go. worth keeping both in stock saves down time! just go home fit either in an hour. only got to bolt them in and connect 2 wires. :)

thanks guys - will do usual checks & maybe check the bushes & save myself £170 plus VAT Alltec charge for service!!

craigp are all machines that easy to change the vaccuum and pump.
Have 2 Stimvacs and often thought I could do it myself.

Hi Craig
Yes - ive had a play & had the motors out no probs, thing is the brushes on the motors should be replaced avery 500 hours - the brushes are only a tenner each & will extend the life of the motor/stop them blowing (so they say.) Dont want to fiddle with the internals of the motors myself - hence just wanted someone who could fit them in for me!! If it doubles the life of the vacuums then its a good economy
