I couldn't start my van parked on double yellow lines because my key wouldn't turn the ignition as it was too worn down once. Had to call a locksmith out. That was a bad day as it happened in the morning and had to wait until late evening for a call-out locksmith to do a replacement key code. The only good thing was I didn't get booked by the Hitler style traffic wardens at the time.

Don't you just hate it!
Had a great morning at work picked up 3 new small commercial customers, £96 per 4WKS between em. and a one off £75.
Just as I had finished, I went to get in the truck and noticed the tire looked a bit flat, on inspection it had a great big nail stuck through the thing, cost me £72 for a new one fitted, then I got home to a phone message from a customer(financial recruitment offices) "due to the economic climate BLAH BLAH BLAH"
End result is I am £3.00 better off!
And it rained all day! >:(

Hi Darragh
Not being funny mate but wouldnt trust a repair kit.8yrs ago I was in a crash that killed 3 of my closest mates all because a hire firm had repaired a puncture.get a decent spare and you'll never need it.

sorry to hear that ,
it was probably repaired with the tins of spray which arent permanent as most hire companies use them, i think these are great used them a few times with no problems but would fully understand why you wouldnt trust them

I'm not 100% sure but I don't think its legal now to repair a tubless tyre? thats why if you go to a garage they won't repair it.
The law may be different in Ireland were Darragh lives?
I carry a small canister for the trailer that re-inflates the tyre but only as a temporary repair.
