sounds good.... then you can earn more still by filling the gaps with overpriced work..... quids in all around ?)
-
..then lose half of the increased priced customers and you're back to square one!
-
i dont think the current economic climate is the greatest environment in which to be sacking customers off at that rate, but if you do let me know, i will have them :)
-
what is the answer then daveshaw?

If you increase your prices by 100% you won't lose 50%.
More like 95%.

I have to agree there 100% increase unless you dont care if they leave would be 110% madness because you would lose more than you keep

I would love to increase my takings by 50% come on dave spill the beans :)
-
Yeah ok. Why not? ;D

the way you can increase your takings is by cleaning fascia boards at 2 monthly intervals after doing the initinal clean they are a stroll in the park just a quick brush over , 1st clean charge a good rate , then charge a fixed rate of say £10 per 2 months , £10 minght not be a lot but its money for a quick brush over , ive increased my mates income over the last 2 weeks by £1800 with a regular fascia board clean , you will be surprised how many people want this done .
-
Just the facia boards or soffits and barge boards as well
-
What do you mean when you say a quick brush over? I assume you are WFP.
If trad then they need wiping with a soapy cloth and then drying a couple of times with dry cloths, including the underside of the gutters and the soffits this is a lengthy job even at every 2 months.

, initial clean do all the lot , then do just the fascia and front edge of gutter if you notice any muck build up .

yes mate im wfp , if trad use a extension pole with a applicator , if you keep the fronts clean its really rare that you get dirt build up on the bottoms of gutter and soffit .

Sorry mate, but i dont think that would work in the current crunch. :-\
People are happy to give me £15 every month or so but if it then went up to £20, then im sure they would be thinking "mmmm cant really afford that" and i would prob lose that job. I know they would be getting more for thier money but its all in the mind.
IMO its time to keep the prices stable and not lose any.
