I use and would recommend www.roundbuilders.com But there is also door knockers, cleaner marketing, PDS and a new one window cleaning canvasser. Do a search on here.

i have heard good and bad about those companies .. mainly bad! i used to be a canvasser and offer canvassing services on here myself but have since seen the light and am building/have built myself a decent round but need to employ a canvasser to take it to the next stage .... i am in surrey and need someone good who is gonna get me well priced work. I will def be fussy about the price of work canvassed for me as i know what prices are achievable in this part of the country. That is my main worry about canvassers as i have seen it from both sides.

So really you are after a canvassor that will get you appointments to quote, rather than actually quote on your behalf.

Sounds like someone i need too!

no i would be happy for someone to quote for me and give me a list of new jobs but am just nervous of the "go in low and get the deal" commission only canvassers.

how have you found them , advertising? if so where?

i have been trying to develop something like a quote calculator for mine, a spreadsheet they can use on a pda and just put in how many windows - which floor, how many bay windows, how many conservatory winodows, access issues, is it on a compact round etc, and get a rough orice from that, +teach them as well  by taking them out a few times, and tell them to stick a few quid on if they are unsure ... its not rocket science !

I have used roundbuilders for 2 years now, built me most of my work. I have a very good relationship with them now, i rent office space and a phone from them as well, ie they run my office side of things for me. I would say use them, but i would say that as there service really works for me. All the jobs i have are priced well, some over priced in fact, and the quality commercial leads i get are brilliant. Because i have been using them for a while they know what i want and i haven't been let down once. If you want jobs of £5-£10 anybody including my nan could get those, but my minimum is £25 per house now. But there are a few companies out there now, speak to them all as one might work better than another for you!!
Anyway you should know what your looking for as you have done the job!

You are right it is not rocket science in terms of what your instruction to the canvasser is but getting someone to carry out your instructions is not easy ... believe me!
