Here's a chart to show the freezing point of isopropanol in water. I reckon you would need ten percent for a normal english winter. So that's six and a half litres for a 650l tank?

So what's that? 0.057%? anyone else have a go?
Look at the chart then tell me how effective that is as anti-freeze?

Or a wetting agent or a solvent cleaner? It's so miniscule it would be almost undetectable, you could drink your ro water and not notice it. Wake up guys you are wasting your money.  ::)

Thanks Daveshaw for the suppliers tel. no. I will give them a buzz when this 15 ltrs is used. I tried it for the first time today. Put 1/2 ltr per 250lts water in van tanks, probably too much, but no adverse affects. The only difference i can see from using just pure water is that a). it froths/suds on the glass a little, giving the impression that you have soap in the water- but it evapourates quickly. and b). It gets those snail trails of with a lot less effort. Is it worth the expense even at £30+ per 25 lts?(that should treat 10,000 lts at the ratio i used today) not sure yet, but after the first day i quite like using it for some reason. So we willsee. Thanks again for all your comments. What reasons do you all use it for all year round? 8) Syd

Funny that you still haven't actually tried it yourself, so you shouldn't speak about it really.
