Title: Cleaning a Balcony
Post by: maggie67 on February 22, 2005, 10:25:13 am
Hi all!  :)

As domestic cleaning is my main business we tend to clean inside!!  ???

However I have been asked to clean an apartment balcony which has balustrades & is rendered and painted cream. Any tips on particular products or equipment which work a treat and save a huge amount of time would be gratefully accepted. ;D

It is about 2 metres deep and spans approx 7 metres!

Many thanks

Maggie

Hi Maggie

That's an interesting question, especially as I am pricing up an appartment block  for builders clean, sparkle clean and a re-clean and half of the 34 appartments have balconies of various sizes and Terraces. So I am puzzuling over how much extra to charge for them.

I don't think they will be too mucky as they will all be in new condition.....with just the usual builders muck over it!

So I too would be interested in peoples comments.....!!

However, Maggie, you have not specified what the condition of the balcony is in and what concerns you have about it. May help give people an idea of how to help you out.

Regards

Tim

Thanks Tim

I will try to elaborate!!

It is in good condition, balcony to a newly converted apartment, no hard wear & tear as such but hasn't beeen touched since the summer so needs sprucing up a little.

Any tips or advice welcome!

Also would those who are in the domestic business charge an hourly rate or a premium for something like this?

Regards

Maggie
