I've always used Gloria 5 and 10 litre sprayers, they've been very good but can't say if they're better or worse than any others.  They've gone on for years and I haven't felt the need to change them, so must be OK I'd guess :)

Where is the best place to get an electric sprayer? Both of mine at the moment are pump ups, I use small 2litre for upholstery and 5 litre for carpets.

Dont bother with pump up, get a battery one.
Solution Uk do a multi spray, around 300 but the best to get.

Mark, a shame.
Do a search online, they are from the States. May be able to get a good price.

I've heard mixed reports about the multisprayer, some say they've used one for a while and it's been great, others say they've broken down often and been a pain in the butt.

Solutions don't sell them any more, because of the reliability problems and knock-on effects r.e. warranty repairs/returns etc.

There are a few other electric and battery sprayers around, express do one i think.  Never heard any reports from anyone who's got one though.

Another one  :D :D

We use Ashby's Ninya hot water extraction system which is well known for being one of the best carpet cleaning systems around with 400 psi suction meaning your carpet drying time will be greatly reduced.

Did not realise that 400psi was suction  ;D ;D

I`v already had words ;)
I think thats the problem with forums, they can be great areas for information
but for a newbie it can be a disaster,if they take to much notice of one person.
i comment on here when its just a small one like this thread or if i can see if someone is taking to much notice of one person who, i feel, is giving bad advice.

Some people on here(or other forums) may be more technical than me, but i dont give a sh#t, I KNOW how to clean carpets.

Daryl

p.s DJJ thanks for a laugh ;D ;D

Cleaningmaster.
Re the Gloria not looking good after a few months.

Is that the stainless steel that you are referring to?

If so, use some baby oil, cleans up stainless stel a treat. Same goes with kitchen applianes etc.

I have been using the multisprayer for years now, the only thing I have changed is the pump twice but I consider this part of the running costs.  Not bad for a bit of kit which is used daily and saves me time and energy. Each to there own I suppose.

Derek where do you get the pumps?

Have you never changed battery?

Had mine 4 years and changed both but new battery looses charge quickly :(

Mark,

The model I have uses the mains power. The last pump I got from Solutions UK but you can get them from most any suppliers, including Ebay. They are only 50 psi so are relatively cheap.

I loved my Multi sprayer but it was unreliable so went back to pump up or inline for bigger jobs.

I think the 50 or even better 70psi pump would be better but that could be a personal thing.

For what its worth, Ive used the Shurflo Electric Backpacks for nine month now and never let me down once.

Sprays 400 litres on just one charge, very comfortable on your back when only half full and will take upto 18 litres if need be.
