can anybody tell if i use a Composite vessel for water purification  filled with mixed bed resin in a hard water area would it be ok? i realize that i would have to change the resin more often but i need to know if the resin would be ok for a starter wfp for domestic work

Yes it would be fine, but as you say the resin would exauast a lot quicker. :)

It will work, but won't last long.
Not the most cost effective way !!
