I have put together a van mount on less than £500.00

Tank = 400 litres - second hand - £80.00
Pump 100psi - new £100.00
Ratchet straps - 5 tonne x2 - £20.00
Eye bolts & carabiners - £20.00
Hose reels x2 £30.00 from Screwfix
Microbore x 100 metres x 2 - £80.00
Heavy duty clips & hose connectors - £20.00

The only thing missing there was a battery - at £60.00. The question was how much to fit a van mount, not the price for a complete system. Reel = reels x 2 £30.00 (line 5). I have never needed or wanted a controller in any of the four vans I have put systems into.

i get batteries for pittance ;D
prefer to use a controller
some cheap hose reels aint up to the job
constrictor effect
100mtrs of micro can buckle some plastic reels when under pressure
what are the screwfix ones like ???

I got Ian - WW to post the pics on a post a while back. The hose reels are set onto the metalwork , just inside the bac doors, they swivel - which I like and are more than adequate for 100 metres of microbore. They are metal

I spend £60.00 on batteries because they are better quality and have much thicker lead leaves inside so are more robust and have a loger life span.
