Is it just me or??
My brushes never seem to last, they always start coming loose ie start to swivel, and then I have to fiddle around with extra electrical tape, or stand on my head and screw the g-fit in one more rotation, I literally almost had to stand on the brush to make the next turn, but one turn less, and it swiveled around again. Right now, I'm dreading to take it off to use it on my Super-lite, because if I want to put it on the SL-X again, I had to go through the whole thing again.
Absolutely useless I find, maybe it's the aluminium G-fit screw head, maybe you don't get this with a plastic gooseneck, I don't know.
But seriously, I/we need an aluminium stock or something that lasts.

Try some thread lock liquid on it,.. should do the trick,..

Ah, is that the same stuff that I got with my SL-X? Or is it another bottle?
-
I get it from the motor factors,.. but the SLX stuff is probably the same.
-
Cool thanks for that, I'll pour the bottle in.
( ;D )

To be honest i don`t mess around like that,if i have a brush it has it`s own gooseneck plastic or G-fit i can`t be doing with that messing around it`s so much easier interchanging brushes that way.

I suppose so, good excuse to get the new Super lite or a Tucker I guess. Haha

Just wrap a load of PTFE tape around the thread and hand tighten the brush on as far as possible. Still able to remove the brush if need be, but at least the brush won't work it's way loose to spinning again.

Just pop a self tapper screw in,it won`t budge then and at least you will be able to undo it when you need to ;)

You mean through the stock and the plastic gooseneck? I've got a G-fit, so that wouldn't work. :)
