Hi Guys and ladies! Had to stip out van for mot and service (as i have a midmount engine cant get to engine) and when all put back my pump only delivers a small ammount of water!! ??? tank output seems fine lots of flow batt charged but when varistream on full tilt just a small ammount of water.... now the pump may have been upside down and or on its side for a few days could this be the problem? Or poss some damage to the internalls dont want to strip it just yet dont know what i will find.. and have no spares anyway. 100 psi version did notice that on ouput there seemed to be small bubbles, i have clearish hose on output and they are just visable. is there a patented way of testing these pumps? for instance if i took off inlet and outlet put two lengths of hose on same and put them in buckett of water i should get water going in and quickly out? dont know where to go from here.. any ideas suggestions.
Thanks in advance

Suck the outlet pipe with pump and controler on it sounds like you could have an air lock
-
or maybe a blockage?
-
or an air leak on the suction side
-
i diconnect from pump, let water out of pipe then whack it back on whilst water in full flow from tank.... then put the varistream on full power.... normally splutters for a while... then it all comes through.... airlock.
-
funny enough i bumped into an old forum member tonight stewart from skypole and he had a quick look and yup i think you chaps are right an airlock it looks like to be. will have a look tomorrow and let you know. thank you for your replies helpfull and prompt as usuall.
