Have you run the solution tank empty?
it sounds like you have an airlock.
I have had the same problem in the past, give me a ring and i will talk you through it.

ive put an open quick connect on the outlet and give it a blast through but that did not work

You need to run the pump 15-20 mins with the open end hose connected to get all the air out. If this fails then you may need a new pump.

yea fine but looking at prochem literature they say that the shurflo pumps are fully serviceable do i need to go to a service agent or is it something i can do myself
-
When they state fully servicable i think they are refering to the end bell, im sure you have air in the system.
This problem can be easily rectified, take the male connector off one end of the solution hose, connect the other to the machine and run the pump for 20 mins.
Make sure you have plenty of water in the tank as it will empty quite quickly.

im talking about the wet end of the pump

Could be the pressure switch. if you look on the prochem website there is a manual for the steempro 2000, on page 15 is a troubleshooting guide
-
wouldn't things just be easier if john was around
-
I was having a drop in pressure with my pump
Turned out the brushes were warn out
Sometimes i think its better to just get a new pump and then get your old one looked at
Williamson pumps £130 including VAT and carriage
They might be able to advise you
You will need to google them
but the web site might be
www.williamsonpumps.co.uk

Am with ian on this one mate, might be time for a new pump.
How old is the pump?
-
is no one bothered that john is no longer there to help?

Life moves on for all of us. It's not good to get overdependent on any single person, or product. It might not be there tomorrow.............
Look what's happened over the past couple of weeks. Airlines / Holiday Firms / Banks, gone in a blinking of an eye.
Some of us will lose money over the next few months, as clients lose their jobs and companies fold.
Beyond our control....................might be worth someone setting up training for machine maintenance !
