Do any of you use a company who do both... or did you all design your own and have them printed professionally?
Anyone know of the best place to get double sided... different on either side.
thanks.

I bough a coloured lazer jet, and do all mine in house, design as well. I just found using these services are too expensive in comparison, and I need to do a certain amount of printing at home for invoices, reciepts, letters ect anyway.
What I dont like is if you have a little colour logo at the top they charge you the price of a full coloured page, but just black and white doesn't look as professional.
So I go with inhouse.
Its a HP Colour lazer jet I use, £150 from misco, still not changed a catridge since I got it about four/five months ago. Done loads of double sided brochures and letters. Since the ink is only about 1 1/4 used it should last me all year and then some, but I guess it depends on how much printing you actually do.
Hope that helps

I have that problem when i leave them in the car, i inevitably get water on them at some point and ruin em, but rather ruin cheap home made ones than expensive print shop ones!!

If the flyer is double sided and the page is in MS Word there should be an option, but with mine you just print say 100 of one side, stick it back in and it automatically starts printing the other side.
You can buy glossy paper, and do the printing yourself and you should still save some money, but if you use general paper and a lazer printer, you will find that it makes it a little glossy anyway, so is still pretty good quality. As for smudging I would just keep them in them plastic envelopes you can get from tesco, that will keep them as dry as possible. I believe that ink jet smudges more than lazer jet, and you cant use glossy paper in ink jets as the ink just smudges like mad, the photo paper you can buy is different and designed to suite inkjets.

just read seandyer2003 post and I had that before as well, and then plastic envelopes sorts that, I always like to have some handy in the car, people always stop you and ask for your number, so I give them one of my brochures.

why not just have them call a voice mail number, that way you dont miss any opertunities and can respond to them right away. If you just wait until you are back round that way, they might have caught another window cleaner ect.

5000 A5 full colour double sided 130gsm paper leaflets £69 delivered....want to know more?

i have to agree about going to cheapleaflets for cards or leaflets they were great and very reasonably priced, we spent years printing our own messing around cutting them up and then found out we could get about 5000 cards for 60 quid ................a no brainer, they look a million times ( no exaggeration ) better than the ones we did, they have little pics of gutters and fascias on to advertise the fact that we clean these as well. honestly once you have them done proffessionally (at a reasonable price) you will never go back to printing them yourself.
