Is the water shooting out from the fitting or from between the hose and the fitting?

Have you secured the O ring over the hose properly,if you use clips it does this aswell.

Best thing to do is email me (alex@agardiner.co.uk) a digital photograph of the O clip so I can see if there is anything obviously out of place.  Unless the clips are done up exactly right they can have a propensity to leak.

hi
ive found it is best to fit an 8mm onto microbore, need to dip end of hose in hot water to push on . the 6mm ones on microbore just push on cold , and i do not get such a good seal, i fit o rings correctly ie placed over barb but still leaks unless i use the 8mm ones.
