Hi All
Just had to order a new pump and was wondering if it made any difference if you put your DI bottle before or after the pump.If it does matter then whats the explanation?.
Cheers

i think after is better, as if you put di before pump, i would think there is a danger of sucking resin beads through pump and possibly damaging seals.

I had this same question about a month ago. Speaking to Varitech, they said they were positive displacement pumps. That means they don't mind building up pressure but they do not like suction. If you have the DI after the pump then the pump is pushing through the DI creating pressure. If you have DI first then the pump is pulling through the DI creating suction, which these pumps apparantly don't like.
