I would rather pay a little extra and get one with a guarantee than take a chance on ebay just in case anything goes wrong as i know these things are expensive and dont want to pay out twice
Thanks though  :)

with the money you will loss by being off work, you might be better just buying a new one. Getting it fixed sooner rather than later. You might want to check some scrap yards for the part but like I say, would just go and get one new.

Good luck mate

gerard ;)

I did do some trad work today out of the car but its not ideal and the wife needs the car for her work so its not really an option and i dont like using the car for work considering how much i paid for it and how rough trad work is on a vehicle scratches etc
As for buying a new pump thats probably what i will do just asking though if anyone knows if recon one are available so i can save some money worth a try

as its a Ford Transit you will get 1 from a breakers yard no issue, hardly as if the transit is a rare beast
