where is the best place to put the booster pump? (outside tap then about 5 meters to shed then ro and di unit) should i put it on at the first point of entry to shed ? on the tap inside the house or inbetween ro and di unit (100gpd ro with di unit)
also its a ro man unit but cant get hold of them at mo can someone breifly explain the 3 cartridges and top memnrne unit and how it works it also said to flush unit but instructions bit tricky to understand
cheers

The best place to put the pump is just before the RO unit. On the RO unit, the bottom three cannisters are, from right to left:
Sediment Filter
Carbon Block
Granular Activated Carbon
These three take out the nasties that would damage the RO membrane. The top membrane unit then works on a reverse osmosis principle, only allowing clean water molecules through. As the dirt builds up on this membrane it needs to be flushed off regularly. To do this, open up the flush valve to allow most of the water freely passed the membrane surface and out the waste. I would do this for about 3-5 minutes before each major tank fill.

i opened flush valve and the waste water increased in pressure and the product water stopped is that right

That is exactly what should be happening. :)

It comes as standard with a lot of RO-Man units. It goes around a 15mm copper pipe and then you screw in a needle that pierces the copper pipe and when screwed out, provides you with a water feed.
