It's very hard to tell but as it has Brodex clamps, if it were fibre glass it would be purple.  As it is yellow I am assuming it is carbon fibre.

What sort of price do you think is worth paying? Assuming its in good condition?

Or are you gonna say how long is a piece of string??

Do not bother at all with poles like this, especially since this looks like a glassfibre one.

If you've got the money, go for an SL-X. If you don't, perhaps go for a X-tel hybrid, but I'd seriously recommend the SL-X, it's like a broomstick, so solid, nothing comes close to it.

Dave, I had one of these poles when they first came out about 3 years ago! and indeed it is a brodex pole! I didn’t like it at all! Why! It made my hands itch! I don’t think it was well made, so I think brodex cottoned on to this and stop making them! so my advice...don’t buy it

If you cant afford a SL-X then Brodex do some really good poles and at good prices! we have a full set in are van and more than happy with them!

Think they might be doing special offers at the moment!

It could be! I don’t know Jeff, they did it with the predator pole, then they put the prolong on the market, which in my view is a good wearing pole as unlike glass fibre, it will last a long time! I have had my prolongs for about 18 months and there still going strong!

I'm using it everyday, for every job up to third floor. It's incredibly rigid, light, clamps are excellent, the closed length is ideal for ground floor work, and it's hard wearing. The only pole I ever use on residential.
