thought that would get your attention.... ;D
i am still in the process of rigging my new van (new to me) :D
but i want my reel bolted down on a swivel plate...
i have thought of using a " lazy susan " wood base
or even a tv stand , which they use in caravans, on a swivel base... available on ebay.
do you guys use any thing like that, it just would be easier when pulling reel out of back doors, if the reel turned in pull direction.
cheers. ;).

There was a post on here a few days back and he used the underneath workings of an office swivel chair, which i thought was an excellent idea.

Today was the first day I used it, I was in a little Hamlet were I needed to use it through both side doors and the rear doors and I must say how impressed I was with it, I did have one Jamb with it when I forgot to reatatch it to my special little bottle holder, all's this does is stops it reeling out to fast when your pulling the hose out, at least the hose reel never fell over like I'm used to.
It took a little getting used to at first but then again, so did working from the back of a van when your used to working from the back of a trailer.
If you can get your hands on a swivel I would say go for it.
