You need something like this, i think. With a length of 6mm pipe to go from here to booster pump.

if you can imagine  out side tap and shed approx 10 feet apart,   i want to run the hose between them so ro will be in shed   but need to convert thin ro pipe to standard garden hose   or do i run direct from the tap the small pipe

My 200gPD Ro came with a blue male screwed into the RO and I just attached my hose pipe from the tap to it, the other RO I have, has a small pipe, one end push's into a hose pipe and the other goes to a small bore tube, I'm almost sure RO-Man will do both types of fittings for you.

what you need is on that link. You want a length of 6mm pipe to run from your tap to your ro. Then a 6mm connector to screw onto your tap.
Forget about trying to use your hosepipe. The above is the simplest.

push a short length of microbore onto the ro pipe
then push microbore into garden hose
jubilee each end
easy and it works ;)

sorted  links up a treat

where is the best place to put the booster pump?    (outside tap then about 5 meters to shed then ro and di unit) should i put it on at the first point of entry to shed ?  on the tap inside the house  or inbetween ro and di unit (100gpd ro with di unit)???

cheers ???
