Title: Diy solution/vav hose assembly ?
Post by: cleanability on February 17, 2005, 08:52:17 am
Is there anywhere which sells vac hose ( 1.5 inch diameter ) and solution hose so that I could possibly make up my own hose assembly ( for Extracta/Alltec HWE kit )? Has anyone done this? Especially as the solution hose is always in good nick well after the vac hose has sprunk leaks and needs replacing. Also I'd like to find some 2 inch diameter vac hose to re-new this hose thats used inside my machines for vac motor exhaust/connections.

You can get solution line at any hose specialists for around £1 per foot.  Ive never seen vac hose sold other than out suppliers.

However when you think of all the work they do a few hundred quid is nothing for a few lenghts of hose.

Also whatever you buy make sure its colour cordinated as you dont want the hose that Jack built dragging across Mrs Bloggs floor.

Chris,

Try Arco if they are in your area.
I used to get all my vac hoses from them.
