Title: Weather Forecast
Post by: Oakley Windows on September 04, 2008, 11:48:30 pm
Quote from: met office
During the following week there is no particularly strong signal for any notable weather events to occur. Some rain or showers are likely, along with some dry and bright spells.

 ;D  ;D  ;D

Well theres talking dribble for you!! Why dont they just say 'Well, were sorry, but were totally crap and havent actually got the foggiest idea what the weather's going to do'

Day 6-15 on here www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/uk_forecast_weather.html

sometimes I think they just give a presimic prediction of the weather, if the report says dull, they predict dissle so you are not disappointed when its beter than expected.

i'm glad it's not just me!

if I was a weather reporter I wouldn't be able to sleep at night, knowing that every day I tell millions of people a complete load of cobblers, based on the met office, which seemingly is run by a bunch of monkeys!

I know it must be very difficult, but "in the ball park" would be nice!

I think they've got it right today though... must have been a "no brainer"

go on... have a moan.... I feel better already, looking forward to a nice day off and an early beer this afternoon!     ;D

Yep I NEVER listen to the forecast. If I paid heed I would never get anything done. They cant pinpoint with accuracey where it will rain.
I just wake up in the morning and see. I normally work in the rain .( I have a decent pair of waterproofs ). However when its rainning like it is today I normally do other work related stuff. Like mess about with with the new WCP or drop of some accounts to my bookeeper.
Not looking forward to my taxbill!!!! :o

Only two things that you can rely on, where weather is concerned.

1  You will get some, every day

2  It will not be boring
