The bit that connects my hose to the reel...... in the centre of reel and under all the hose..... has split.... its a brass u shaped thing. ... i have had to fit a standard hose fitting on temp, for now.... but it sticks out like a sore thumb and when reeling in... it sticks up....
does anyone know where i can get a replacement very similar... but not the same as the u bend thing is rubbish.
thanks.
Gary.

you need a half inch bspt female to half inch male barb elbow - motor factors or plumbing supplies
-
thanks but the bit that screws to the reel... is a threaded standard half inch screw in ....and the nipple ... at the other end of the u shape is a microbor.barb... :)

Gary your posts are all work related ! when us pro cleaners have come home from doing real work ( not imaginary ) then we need some me time ! we dont want to see the likes of you discussing weather a female fits another female fitting ! Garry get a life mate ;D

thats exactly what I'm talking about.
It is a half inch female thread - elbow with a half inch male barb, or in your case for microbore either a 8mm or 6mm barb.
you can buy it as one piece

Do you mean one of these?

Alex how long have you had those lightweight hose reels in stock, Ive had 3 of those from a local supplier and the orange handles snap off every time, I gave up with them after that

Hi Chris
Not long. Haven't had any problems yet! They are certainly not as sturdy as our other versions.

Gazza im sure that if you take your hose reel into your local plumbers merchant they will be able to help you......... i went in to mine a few times when i was setting up my WFP gear and they were brilliant :)
Cheers Dave
